Event title: One day event for developers of information literacy teaching and learning material: CaRILLO
Date and time: Tuesday 3rd August 2010
Venue: University of Birmingham
Further details and booking:

Are you a librarian/learning technologist?
Do you create learning material to help you/others teach information literacy skills?
Then this event could be for you!

One of the main outcomes of a symposium held at the LILAC information literacy conference in 2009 was a demand for a community of practice for librarians and educational technologists to share ideas and resources in creating, re-using and re-purposing information literacy learning objects. This event (Creating and Re-using Information Literacy Learning Objects) will be a day of talks and a workshop to exchange ideas and good practice and to highlight high quality resources already available. The workshop section of the day will give you a chance to work with others on one of the following areas:

  • Finding resources to re-use/re-purpose
  • Sharing your own resources with others
  • Creating new resources
  • Re-purposing your own or others’ resources
